Bought a pair of AE MacNeils in Burgundy Cordovan that I believe were store displays as one of the shoes has already developed a patina (albeit a beautiful patina) while the other one looks like it has never been taken out of the box. Is this acceptable? And if not, is there a way to correct the color with creams/conditioners/sunning the other shoe? AE has offered me an exchange for any other cordovan shoe they have in stock but I really like the Burgundy MacNeil and this was the only one they had in stock nationwide. Need some advice! Thanks.
