But in all seriousness, the site does seem a bit of a Sartorialist knockoff and I don't get the name as it relates to its subject matter.

I might be wrong, but I believe it existed before the Sartorialist.

It's a site like the sartorialist, AFAIK it predates the sart. Just like the sart a lot of the pics are taken at fashion weeks and not of "regular" people. The photog are usually better on sart (at least the displays on the website) but the subjects might be better on facehunter (no suit obsession).

It's quite common for folks with unattractive faces to compensate with unique styles.
Facehunter is more about styles of dressing than cute faces.
