Facebook Wall Photo - How to Recover????

I've asked this question on Facebook website but all I find is members having exactly the same problem and asking the same question....
Perhaps some here would actually have an answer?

I have made contributions to Facebook with photos ever since joining, so hence have accumulated a sizable "Wall Photos" collection. Three days ago, Monday 3/26/12, I found one of my posts with photo was repeated, but in trying to delete the duplicate I made one click and all the "Wall Photos" as well as all the related posts disappeared - in one fell swoop I immediately went to "Recycled" on my computer but there was no connection.

Does anyone know any way to get the photos and the posts back? Looks like every post that had an accompanying photo is gone! Totally disgusting! Even if I did something to remove all the Wall Photos one might think everything I posted would still appear, with perhaps one of those boxes with an "x" in it where the photo had been.

Again - HELP!!!

Facebook saves all info you could probably ask them to dig up the file and put it back online

That's the problem! How does one get a person at Facebook? In their "questions" section all responses are by other Facebook members, and no one has supplied an answer to this one - they only repeat their own frustration.

If you actually have a way of contacting Facebook I'd love to know, and so would many others. Thanks.

I mean you could just try info@facebook, busdev@facebook etc. I'm pretty sure they don't offer any support emails / phone numbers.

It is a free service so you can't expect to get real service.

Thanks, but this leads nowhere. I just sent the inquiry to one of these addresses, and a response came immediately saying they're "streamlining" the handling of questions and I should go to one of the sites where certain questions are answered. I've done that under "photos," they do not answer my question, and it just leads to what I've described - a page where many people tell of the same problem and there are no responses that offer a solution to the problem.

I'm hoping for someone who has played around with Facebook and had some success with retreiving the photos. Yes, it's with the idea Facebook has the photos and posts buried somewhere that offers some hope to seeing them again!....

Any luck with this? I need to recover a picture that I know I posted on facebook and it is just gone. I never deleted it. I'm pretty sure it was a wall photo. Let me know if you found anything out!

I doubt you will have much luck but in the future, save your in more than once place.

I have at least three copies of every picture that I want to keep. (HDD, external 1, external 2, online)
