Figured more people know fabrics here than most dept stores.

Any idea about the quality of these? Holland and Sherry like,
Lesser like, zegna like or much lower.

    thanks

Roger LaViale is long gone. Roger himself passed away maybe 10 years ago. I worked there in 1982 in the cut length area. They worked with Heild, Lessona, They were major importers of Japanese woolens which at the time were much less expensive then English goods. They brought in sport coat fabric from Scotland and irish tweeds. This is before the Italian mills had agents. Guy M. continued the Laviale business for a couple of years. He is now at Gladson. I do not know if they still use the Laviale name in any way. Both Roger and His partner Kenny Bates knew the updated American traditional look better then anyone around. Carl www.cego.com
