Fabric experts: sources for solid madras for custom shirts

I need the help of our resident fabric experts. I recently got a Gant shirt made from a solid madras, and I think it might be the perfect summer shirt fabric for North Carolina & Florida.

I've tried to find a custom shirt option in this fabric with no luck. Anyone know of a maker or book with examples of solid madras shirting?

Atlantic sells madras.

Note that I don't know what years these are from. I heard that Gant sometimes makes theirs from NOS madras from the 1960s. I'm skeptical that Atlantic's are that old, but you can ask

Contact Beckenstein in NY. Saw some on the shelf their but couldn't say if it was appropriate for shirts or jacket/trouser.

I have some madras plaid in a very attractive colorway from the Flusser Sale I had in NYC this past weekend.

The unsold remainder will get to SF in the next few weeks. I'm just planning the SF sale stage now.

So if you can wait a couple of weeks, you could get some very nice madras plaid shirting at a good price.
