You know, in business casual environments, taking away the collar stays tends to look a lot less dressy and more on the casual side. Lately, I've found the same thing too -- khakis/chinos + cotton shirts without stays and loafers for the perfect well dressed but casual look.

Having just received one, I can well believe it. It fits me ok, so I don't particularly regret the fairly small amount I payed in the virtual clothes horse clearout, but it's got brittle-feeling cheap fabric, ugly plastic buttons and sewn-in collar stays. If it is nothing to do with the better known Finamore, I'm surprised that they allow another company to get away with a similar name. If it is part of the same group, I'm surprised they choose to have such inferior product cheapening their brand.
