Prices include shipping Conus with tracking and fees. I might consider international, but you'll have to cover shipping. Prices below include shipping and fees (about $5) I'm 20 ties and that's it. New ties in mean new ties out, but now, we're at the core of my collection. Each tie out is one that pains me to let go of. Tie worn sparingly; look in as if new condition. 1. Cappelli blue medallion challis, tipped $95 3.5 x 61 inches (see below on length) The first is a Cappelli bespoke challis tie, tipped, 3.5inches by 61 inches. I'm surprised it's that long as I'm sure I said 59 inches. But no matter; it ties like my other ties which are 59, i.e. it isn't long (back blade not longer than front blade), but measure your own wool ties to be sure. I'm sure you'll find several at 60-61 inches when they are listed at 59. The wool takes up some of the additional length [Edit: see below on length and measurements of tie when tied]. The base is a dark blue with red and green medallions. It's a beautiful, muted tie. The medallions don't pop out but are more subtle. I just have an indigo medallion that I wear more, so this is duplicative. This fabric never made it to the website. Patrizio Cappelli sent me a picture of a couple of swatches and I chose this one, one of my first from him. It's unique and delectable. On the length: In general, many of my wool Drake's RTW ties are longer than I expect, 60-61 inches, sometimes longer (longer than the listed length). I've not had a problem with the length of the blade though, the wool sort of eats up the extra length when you tie it. Update: I tied the above Cappelli. Hitting the mid point of the belt-line of mid rise trousers (HYount USA cut trousers), the front blade measured from top of the knot (highest part) to the tip of the blade is 21 inches approx with two inches difference with the back blade. It ties like my 59 inch silk ties. You can tie it a bit shorter say a touch longer than 20 inches with just a touch difference with back blade. Please note the careful folding on the fabric at the tip (beautiful symmetry), the sort of care you find in a bespoke article of clothing from a top maker. Anyway, should tie like a normal 59 inch tie if you tie those without a large difference between the two blades. Happy to answer questions. Please note this is a good deal on a like new tie, worn carefully. You avoid shipping charges, duties, Fedex fees, store uncharges etc. And yes, I paid more than the price above for this tie.
