Great idea for a thread! I wear sunglasses almost everyday and have a few pairs. I’m spend a lot time of time driving, so I have different pairs for different lighting conditions and depending on my mood.

I tend to like pairs that wrap around a bit and give some side coverage from sun light and also aviator style sunglasses.

Here are Maui Jim’s Stingray in brown with brown lenses and also in black with dark gray lenses for really bright sunny days. I wear these 2 the most for driving.

These wrap arounds are from Porsche Design and are titanium. I also wear these for driving.

Below are some aviators that I really like a lot. Both have dark green lenses.

These are Cartier’s Santos De Cartier sunglasses. They have the screw motif on the temples, arms and nose piece (which is found on their Santos wrist watch and some of their jewelry). There is also a leather piece with a screw that’s removable (which I don’t use).

It also looks nice with other watches with bolts or screws in the bezel such as the AP Royal Oak.

Here is a sort of square variation on aviators from Oliver Peoples.

I got these for $99. No visible Gucci logo on the outside of the frame. Very well constructed.

I’ve seen Thom Browne, LGR, Spitfire and American Optical all do those mesh side shields.

I now have a couple of pairs of Moscots.
The first are named after the founder Hyman. I really like the emerald green frames.

The others are named Nebb, bought off eBay without lenses and taken to the shop to get green glass fitted.

The shop is well worth a visit on Orchard Street in the Bowery area of New York City.

Serengeti Borom (right). Great lenses for driving should not you have to check your screens. I am returning the Carrara Leather ones (they do not suit my face).
