Eye Floaters - Anyone Else Have Them?

I have them in both eyes. When I would stretch during track practice in high school, I'd always try to stare at them directly, but to no avail. I thought they were bacteria until I googled them.

they disappear for months/years at a time though for me.


FYI if anyone gets floaters after a trauma like this they ought to go to the emergency room because it might be a sign of an impending detached retina.

Yep, I have floaters. I don't notice them unless I'm looking at a white wall, or the sky. I have very bad myopia and was at risk of retinal separation, but it's stabilized. I first noticed them waking up hungover after an especially wild night of partying, was kind of worried
