I don't know about "Extremely" nice for that price range, but you can definitely get a good pair. I would probably say C&J (crockett and jones)

For $900? AYFKM?

For that price get a pair of EGs on sale. Saks has a F&F event in a couple of weeks.

EG = Edward Green
F&F = Friends & Family (not a shoe brand)

Ferragamo makes great shoes, and they have brought back a shoe that used to be called the "Xylan" (they now call it the "Heritage" I think?) that is the shoe that Ferragamo designed for his own personal wearing, and is a GORGEOUS shoe.

Ignore the people who act like a shoe has to be obscure to be any good.

I'd have more problems with folks who act like a shoe has to be branded and marketed heavily to be any good.
