Chris Brown fit is bad. Agree. Lacks any clear intentionality and I wouldn't call it oversized, just ill fitting.

That's where I would struggle with next level. Much more likely to end up reading as sloppy rather than advanced. It's not that easy I don't think.

Gotta disagree here: I think the Chris Brown fit is bad for reasons other than the proportions, which look pretty middle of the road to me, i.e., not too slim, but not Yohji over-sized either. Sure, the tailoring could be cleaner (not the same thing as slimmer), but it's certainly not "oversized" by any means.

I mean, it's oversized in the same way that compared to a pair of SuitSupply pants, my O'Connel flannel trousers are "oversized." I think dieworkwear make this point here

I don't think we're disagreeing. Maybe I missed the point the OP was making. It's not an oversized fit. Period. So I guess it's not really worth discussing in this context.

O'Connell's trousers or a traditional, full cut shirt from a store like that don't fit here either. Not because there's something wrong with them, they just aren't bought or sold as oversized/next level.

Yeah, I think we are on the same page then.

BTW if you want to try out some oversized pieces, the Barneys in Gold Coast stocks Yohji.

@happyriverz I didn't know that about Barneys and Yohji. I would be interested in seeing some of those pieces in person.

@WBaker how do the sleeves work for you on that sweater? Do you find you have to push them up to have your hands free to use? The knit is lovley.

@frankcowperwood the knit essentially has wing sleeves, so while very long they pull into the body at the waist. Once I have the sleeves over my hands they stay up.

I think it is Lambert Wilson, a French actor, from the 80s. I was doing a search for older Armani images, but not sure what brand the coat is. Maybe it's fur? or some kind of wool.
