Do these exist? I have a short build (5'4, 145 lbs), athletic frame (broad shoulders), with a 15.5 neck. I'm having trouble finding shirts that fit properly. The closest slim fitting shirt I can barely wear is the Express 1MX extra slim fit shirt in size small. Problem is, the neck size for a small is 14.5, so I would never be able to wear a tie with those shirts, but I can live with that. The chest is also a little tight (when I spread my arms out you can see the buttons pull). The extra slim fit Medium was too big.

I recently ordered two Charles Tyrwhitt shirts, one Extra slim in 15.5" and one slim in 15". Both look like parachutes on me.

Any recommendations for other shirts I can try on, or am I stuck with custom made shirts?

Have you tried Brooks Brothers? Sounds like you are in the UK. They have a store on Regent St. Overpriced in the UK, but you can confirm fit and eBay.

I'm actually in the states, San Francisco to be exact. I read that CT shirts fit nice but they don't seem very slim to me at all. I also read that CT shirts are slimmer than the BB shirts.

Fit shoulders, take to tailor. Looking for a perfect fitting shirt off the rack is an exercise in futility. Try Benjamin shirts fro ehaberdasher though.

I have the exact same problem. I'm 5' 4" and about 125. I can't wear extra slim as they are too tight on the chest. For casual shirts I go with Uniqlo's XS.

The only solution I found for acceptable business shirts was MTM. My favorite has been proper cloth, as I find that their collars are well proportioned to me. Modern Tailor is also a decent cheap option.

When is comes down to it, we are rare. That means many companies don't make things in our size.

Basically, this. There are very few body types where you can buy OTR and not need to alter in any way. Yours is definitely not one of them, OP.

I'd recommend 15 tailored or 14.5 slim on CT. Probably won't be wearing a tie on 14.5 though.
