Awesome. Are you going to stock barathea braces as well?

They will be in stock beginning next spring as the barathea braces are traditionally for the Summer months and it isn't possible to have some made in time for this Season.

Do you prefer sized braces or are the "one size fits all" braces good enough for you?

Oh, too bad! although some boxcloth will be nice for next fall/winter.

Multi-fit is usually good enough for barathea braces (adjusters end up a bit high though), but for boxcloth they might be a little long for shorter guys like me since the "excess" in those braces ends up in front of the tabs and there might be too much of it [IMG]

This I've seen on English gentlemen in pinstripe suits. It's definitely utilised as an element of Sprezz in some cases, as well.

Well, I don't think it looks good, but I guess the normal thing to do is to tuck the excess into your waistband, specially if wearing a waistcoat...

I've heard that you can just cut the excess off - with a good sharp pair of scissors you'll get a clean cut and the boxcloth shouldn't fray. But I've never been brave enough to try.
I'd vote for sized braces, but I think I probably own as many as i need now anyway so unlikely to be buying (famous last words...).

Sounds like it should work, but taking a pair of scissors to your £70 braces will require some courage!

Just wanted to add a P.S. the StyleForum discount code has been disabled until the end of the sale. The prices really are as low as they can go. I hope that is appreciated.

My next Pitti experience was with Farfalla.

In my mind, they are known for making the famous Belgian loafers. Most people would've seen theses sported by Luca Rubinacci and there is good reason for this, Farfalla have an exclusive agreement with Rubinacci to only produce the Belgian loafers for them. So if you see them for sale at A Suitable Wardrobe or The Armoury, and they're cheaper than Rubinacci, snap them up quickly, because there won't be any restocks!

One great thing about Farfalla is that everything is handmade, handstitched, you name it, all done by hand. Their shoes are very light weight and are perfect for the hot weather climates.

    Enough talking now the pictures.

(I hope to be starting a MTO with Farfalla, starting with a loafer and a slipper. I have attached the swatches that they offer, in the spoiler, for people to browse. I am interested in hearing opinions of what people would like to see.)

I'm in the market for slippers like the bottom two. Certainly interested in getting a pair MTO if you offer it.
