none of these, they all fit very badly, if you want a shirt with jeans, go down the mall a few rows to jcrew buy one of their 'tailored fit' shirts, then take it to the tailor afterwards anyway, and it'll be 100x better quality at the same price...
this forum doesn't enjoy express, as it is complete and utter garbage that falls apart and looks like crap!

While I generally agree as to Express's quality, I think the 1MX is a decent shirt for a slimmer guy when you can get them on sale for $20 or less. Otherwise, no good.

i dont care for their striped ones...as to fit, they feel very good around the waist, but can be tight if you have any muscle to speak of. These are a decent value when bought at the right price...and I dont care what anyone says, their cotton pants at 30 bucks on sale are among my favorites.

thank you all for sharing your thoughts.
i am getting them for about 20 bucks a shirt.

@VMan, when you say purple, are you talking about the "ruby wine" or the "plum"? Even though the ruby wine looks like purple when you zoom in, it's actually pink.

    thanks

If he's being serious then he's talking about the plum, because that color is amazing IMO.

I just wanted to bump this thread to give a heads up about the Express "fitted" 1MX shirts. These are very different from their "modern fit" shirts which fit loosely. I bought one of the fitted shirts completely by accident a couple of weeks ago, but it fits amazingly well. In addition to being 3% spandex, they're tapered down toward the waist. After one wash it shrank to fit like a glove. It's the best fitting off-the-rack shirt I have at the moment. Unfortunately their material quality is atrocious. It's not very soft, and if you want the shirt to last it has to be hand-washed or dry-cleaned. I know there's a lot of hate for Express 1MX shirts, but the fitted ones fit a lot better.

I bought two Express fitted 1MX shirts late last year as I was looking to improve my style (Bad choice).

The shirts actually did fit quite nicely at first, I am 6'1 and quite thin so I bought a small, it fit like a glove. However after a couple of washes it doesn't fit anything like it did originally--if anything it actually seems bigger. It doesn't tuck in well anymore and I try not to wear it anymore.

The 1MX shirts are actually decent: I'd pick the Avery, Selena, or Croyden stripe. Unfortunately, when I washed mine, I forgot to take out the collar stays and I didn't exactly wash them properly, so the shirts wilted a bit. I still wear them for casual purposes though.
