Which 1MX are you referring to, the Extra Slim Fit or the Fitted size?

I just went ahead and ordered 5 TM Lewin shirts to try them on.
    2 15.5" by 33" Fully Fitted shirts
    1 15.5" by 33" Slim shirt
    1 15" by 33" Fully Fitted shirt
    1 15" by 33" Slim shirt

Hopefully one of these fits. I will be sad if a 15" neck shirt fits and I can't button it, though.

You might try Ledbury's slim shirts. I find them slightly slimmer through the body than Charles Tyrwhitt's extra slim fit and considerably slimmer than Brooks Brothers' extra slim fit.

Thanks for the suggestions. Ledbury looks a bit out of my price range. I am in college still so shirts over $100 aren't really an option or a necessity.

I looked at both the Ledbury and CH sizing guides. These shirts are smaller in the chest than the TM Lewin, but they are still just as wide or wider in the stomach.

Ledbury's Slim is 38-40" in the chest and 38.5" in the waist.
CH Extra Slim Fit is 40" in the chest and 39" in the wast

The CH chest sizing looks promising at 40", I may have to give one of their shirts a try.

I also wear a lot of Express shirts for my everyday stuff, its great for fit (and fit alone). I've found that Hugo Boss shirts in the extra slim have a similar fit, but I'm not sure the quality is really all that much better.

I will definitely keep you posted. I am just worried the chest will be too large, but we will see.

Yeah, I really do like the fit. The material literally creases like paper, though. And during Summer I could sweat through my shirt way too easily.

Not sure. They say it usually takes about 10 business days for them to ship shirts to the US. My shirts should be arriving any day now. Hopefully they didn't get lost on the way here!

On another note, I chatted with a TM Lewin customer support and they told me that they will be have the Super Fitted shirts available again in January. I am going to buy a few of those at that point. It seems like they will be the closest match to Express shirt sizing.

You could also try Suit Supply. The online made to measure joints, if you dare venture there, often have lower priced entry-level fabrics. I know Cottonwork does, and I think Modern Tailor does too.

If you stick to Express, beware those funky colors. Odd shades of blue, green, hot pink, black, purple, do NOT fly in the real world. Rock them in college, but burn them on graduation day.

I'm a bit intimidated about attempting to order a MTM shirt online. I am hoping that I can find a shirt that fits well without having to do so.

I am pretty conservative with my shirt choices. The only Express shirts I have for work are white and light blue.

You shouldn't and I can relate. But IME, once you have your fit/sizing nailed down, there's no turning back. Measure your best fitting shirt and make adjustments if necessary. Start with a basic fabric that's easier on your wallet just in case. Patience, patience patience. Good Luck

I have the exact same problem. Neck is 15.5 but waist is 31. Desperately looking for a slim dress shirt that fits. Tried Ledbury, CT Shirt but they feel like regular fits to me. Returned all of hem.

Hope TM Lewin will solve your problem.

Update us when you get the shirts.
