I have decide to try MTM either through Zegna or RB Black Label. I have never gone the MTM route so I thought I would ask for feedback for those who have tried either of these makers. If you have other recommedations for MTM, please let me know.

IMO, MTM is extremely risky due to the following factors

1) Often, it's sales assistants, and not trained fitters, who take your measurements; and

2) If the block (pattern) is not suitable for your particular physique, the suit will still look crap.

Of course, if the block suits you, and you find a store with a trained tailor, then you're laughing, mate.

I've only had experience with Zegna MTM; don't know about RLBL.

I have a Zegna MTM that is exceptionally nice. I have a much better fitting Samuelsohn MTM that I was measured for at a Samuelsohn trunk show by a dude that knew all the different models and stuff and really hooked me up.

Thanks for your thoughts. I only want to try MTM because I am a small size (36r) and the fabric choices always seem to fall into the "basic" catagory.
