Hi Avocat,
Wow, how in the hell did they process your order before mine.
They refused to pay for shipping despite the fact that it was their mistake?
how does Pediwear's pricing compare to the NYC store?
Been a few days since I ordered from them. Hopefully they have the size that I want. *crosses fingers*
Even with shipping Pediwear's shoes seem to be at least $100-$200 cheaper than the NYC store, especially when you consider NYC sales tax of 8.875%.
I have ordered 5 pairs of C&J's from Pediwear, never a problem but they can be slow to respond. Fortunately there is a C&J store here in New York, so I try on the shoes there first to figure out my size and then order.
+1. It always strikes me as at least robbing the merchant of their time, if not the sale. I don't do it or, if I found myself in a position where I felt the need, I'd be upfront with the clerk and spiff him for his time. Now that I think about it, I should probably be spiffing the owner but then it's complicated...I have ordered 5 pairs of C&J's from Pediwear, never a problem but they can be slow to respond. I always feel weird doing this...making the sales guy work so that I buy elsewhere. I've been wanting a couple pairs of C&J shoes, the Lowndes Double Monk and Wigmore Wingtip Oxford.
