experience with lobb william

This thread inspired me to reach for my black pair this morning. I love these shoes.

+1. Silver buckles?! These never get enough wear but when they do

if it looks good it massively increases the versitlity of these shoes ..

No, the William has brass buckles. I'm a traditionalists.

I'm not wearing a suit but if I was I'd look good. Alternatively, if I was wearing dark denim, they would look just as at home

A shoe similar to the Lobb William that at least to me is suitable for suits, blazer etc. is the Lobb Wallace...(pictured black museum and dark brown museum)...

i always thought they had silver buckles until I saw jerrybrowne's pair with brass buckles.

i prefer the black/silver pair over buffalo tan/brass. So much so that I wore them to a point where the stitching came off one of the straps.
