Hello,

Kilgour will be in San Francisco in April and I am considering contracting with them to have a full bespoke suit made. They informed me that the cutter for SF would be Mrs. Shawn Williams. Has anyone had experience with Kilgour's full bespoke process and with Mrs. Williams in particular?

I appreciate any help you could give. Thanks!!

I don't have any experience with Kilgour. However, if you appreciate the Kilgour cut you may well want to consider Douglas Hayward instead. Two former senior Kilgour cutters, Ritchie Charlton and Campbell Carey, are now with Haywards (Campbell does the US trips). Hayward is also considerably cheaper.

Thank you, Mr. New Yorker.

I will look into Charlton and Carey at Douglas Hayward, though I don't think they currently come to San Francisco.
