Tried on a pair of brown calf 'Buck shot(?)' shoes today.

Have only ever seen them in pictures etc.

Anyone know the origins, makers & general experience with G&H bench grades..

They were a punched cap toe oxford with the irregular spattered of holes looking like a shot gun had miss fired etc.

50% off at the moment, will most probably get them as they are fun, but like all SFers we have this thirst for useless knowledge!

Would normally do a search, but am posting this via my mobile!

Help!!!

I don't have any nor have I seen any in person, but I believe G&H shoes are made by Cheaney.

I have no idea, but if you have a chance to handle their version of the George boot, pls let me know what you think of the quality, particularly if you can compare them to Sanders' original version. The G&H version may be made by Sanders (perhaps to higher standards), but I'd love know for sure. Thanks!

G&H shoe range are made (at this time) entirely by Cheaney, primarily I believe to Cheaney Signature standards and on the 10298 + 2003 lasts
