I just pulled out my RLPL suit to wear for the first time and discovered that the side adjusters stick out about 2 inches once I've adjusted the pants to fit. Should I have my tailor cut an inch off or is this typical ? If it's typical, am I supposed to somehow tuck the ends back in behind the adjusters so that they don't flare out?

seems as though the trouser waist needs taking in.
2 inches on each side seems a bit much.
