1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Would be nicer without the white contrast stitching...or is that what you like about them?

no, i love that contrast stitching. but it isnt 'why' i like them though. just incidental.

    makes it more italianate looking

Didn't catch this discussion the first time through. Great looking shoes. Have any appeared in the shoe porn thread or elsewhere?

For anyone in the Philadelphia area, they are having a trunk show today and tomorrow at Boyd's. I went last year and the shoes are very very nice and do look a lot like Sutor's. I mentioned Sutor when I saw them and the DiBianco sales rep said Sutor's are great shoes, but didn't give any info on any sort of relationship (past or present) between the companies.

I am interested to hear what owners of the brand say about the quality after a few wearings.

Any updates on your monks, or NorCal did you get any other info? I'm digging the monks. Did you order them in brown or cherry? Am curious to see a real life picture of the cherry calfskin.

Still waiting on the double-monks [IMG]

Ordered late September, supposed to receive a try-on 4 weeks later and finished shoes in 3 months...

Have yet to see the try-on. In late November was told shoes "would ship within 15 days" and if they didn't fit or didnlt like for any reason they'd take them back, no questions asked. That said, I've yet to see the shoes[IMG]

Hey windrunner, just wanted ask for clarification: did you order them from MAB? How are they anyhow?

P.S. Sorry to be reviving old threads.

The map they have on that page is the same as Michael Andrews Bespoke: http://www.michaelandrewsbespoke.com/map.asp I am going to take a wild and unqualified guess that di Bianco is operating as a partnership with MAB. I'd gone to see their shoe man last summer but wasn't ready to purchase anything. AFAIK, MAB used to get their shoes done in Japan. This new Italian stuff looks better to me, and I'm ready to jump in (the price point used to scare me lol), which is why I took a leap of faith to revive the thread after searching these forums for 'di bianco'. As for the location, I've only been to 2 Great Jones Alley where MAB is: they have a tiny showroom for the shoes upstairs, but now I'm interested in seeing the Broadway location. I'm receiving a suit at MAB soon (probably within the next week or so), so I'll have occasion to visit the Broadway address. Anybody want some questions answered? lol

Thanks for offering. I guess the usual questions:

    1. Price
    2. Process for ordering MTO (for people in and outside of NY)
