A lot of SF'ites seem to love Michael J. Krell. I'm thinking of copping a pair of his skinny fit chinos.

I have a pair of RRL officer chinos that are fairly slim. Not ball-cleavage slim, and I would only wear them in more casual situations, but I am quite pleased with them.

Anyone have any experience with the KMW tweed trousers? Very heavy?

I like the JCrew classic fits, but they can be a little baggy in some areas. It probably depends on the body type.

I like the look of gshen's Incotex, but I'm sure they would look quite different on me. Where can you find Incotex IRL, so one could try them on?

Real fast, can we talk about what to wear with chinos? I've never owned a pair of chinos until recently a few days ago. So far I've worn mine with a grey AA shirt. belt. and brown zigzags with the chino rolled up a bit. I've came to the conclusion that they look way better if rolled up a few times since the leg opening is a bit large.

I believe Saks and Barneys carries them. Sometimes you can find them in discounters like Daffy's

I agree. Sometimes denim just isn't enough.

That's why god created leather.

I only wear slim trousers, here are the brands that are in my closet thus far:

Incotex
Helmut Lang vintage
Uniqlo
Hickeystyle
Zegna

All the above have hems around 7 inches and are very slim through the leg, just the way I like it.

+1 for EM's of Masons. Wasn't sure if anyone had heard of them, but I have two pairs of pants that I really like. Bought them at Barney's a while back.

Daffy's? Really?

I lived across the street from one until they went out of business (now it's a giant Sleepy's). After walking inside once, I promptly walked out. It all seemed very disheveled, messy, and alot of the clothes looked cheap. Perhaps this wasn't representative of all Daffy's, but it left an impression. If you say they might carry Incotex, it could be worth searching out another location.
