very nice. i was trying to get those. but couldnt as my man, Tarmac got them!

i needed a nice pair of casual or dress shoes in blue suede in a sneaker or sneaker shaped last and rubber sole.

I saw a Common Projects shoe with that description but it was over 200 dollars, well, these Edward Greens were used to be $1000 and at $200, it is no-brainer

Don't let anyone step on your blue suede shoes.

It's a nice last and the medallion and brogue detailing are nice. But in blue? I think a lot of people got carried away on these Edward Green's. I bought two myself, the leather ones were worth it, and i got the suede in the wine colour, which is very versatile. Whether i should buy in green and blue were a bit of a no brainer.

Each of these colors comes with its own jokes.
Green - insert leprechaun joke.
Blue - insert Elvis joke.
Wine - insert Heath Ledger halloween costume joke.

but, I just got green and blue, they both look near black in indoor light.

The outsoles look good (I am learning, but slowly) - stitched on, leather then a rubber layer against the ground?

I like the suede, and I like the shoe, but I am not ready for blue suede shoes myself. Wouldn't blue shoes + blue jeans + blue belt (I assume) be too much blue (da boo di da doo da)? I would think blue would go more with tan, like... Blue, then tan, then blue belt, then some kind of lighter earth-tone shirt?

Oh yes, the rating: 8.

I like them fine, but when I had to jump, I chose the wine (in both the leather and the suede). That said, I "like" them, I just don't know what I'd ever wear them with. I thought the blue leather looked kick-ass. I'm just not man enough for green shoes.
