Does this fit true to size or small? Not sure if you’d know since you did MTM. Either way, how do you like it?
Off the rack was pretty true to size. I decided I wanted on extra nice everyday jacket, which is why I did MTM.

I have a Cavour Mod 2, Armoury Model 3, and a RLPL handmade cashmere blazer. Honestly don’t think there is an appreciable difference in quality, I would go with whatever fits you best.

Do you find that you have wide shoulders? If so I would avoid the Cavour as I find them to have quite narrow shoulders and would likely cause divots. That being said, I actually find Cavour to have a bit more space in the chest relative to the same size Armoury Model 3.

edit: I see you tried the cavour but found the chest tight. What size are you normally? I would consider sizing up and taking in the waist.

Yeah I might bite the bullet and try a size up from Cavour, Armoury Model 3 and maybe Drake’s and keep what fits best.

I’m normally a 40/50. I have a Canali sports jacket that’s a 48 that’s a little tight but still wearable. The Cavour 40/50 just puckered out at chest. Maybe it was the buttoning point, was higher than other jackets?

I’d skip Drake’s to be honest, it’s only a half canvassed garment. you pay a massive premium for the branding / edit.
Ok thanks for feedback. I did also want to try Drake’s suede bomber jacket which I kind of want but definitely don’t need so that was kicking around. 🤣

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
