Here's what I learned from this thread:

    1. I need a new wallet, badly.

    2. Emptying an ocular cranal cavity through the nose is rather easy in Missourah.

I'll be out in the field today so a slight change in firearms from my typical EDC. I'll be carrying a Ruger Blackhawk SA in 357 Mag. It's my deer hunting handgun and general field gun when hiking and fishing all over the country. [IMG]Ruger Blackhawk Revolver by DYSong Photography, on Flickr

skip the kimber jet. please. Get a colt if you want a 1911. ive owned a couple....[IMG]

i do like sigs. but I still prefer a glock trigger.

And Jet...mimbers are most definately not baller. I've made that mistake too.

I was just messing around, I went to the gun shop some years ago and the kimbers were my fav then but I do like sigs. Everyone has glocks, for obvious reasons.

Nothing says 'nature hike' like a 357 Magnum!

Did you have to mod the Cross to take a Fisher refill?

I disagree with the whole 'only a Colt for a 1911' stuff. I've shot my dad's Combat Elite all the time and I still prefer my Springfield Loaded. Idk, it just feels better in my hand. Too many people get wrapped up in brand names instead of what feels good in your hand.

Also, the Kimber hate is probably due to them having so many reliability issues over the past few years. I know a lot of people that had some problems they had to send in for.

Nope. Just used one of these refills.

Is it just me, or do a lot of photos on the EDC blog show the same big Seiko watch?
