  1. Wait, are all the backpacks gone? I just looked and they're not there. I mean, I just got the email saying that they would be out next week

I got my shirts today. Here's pictures and what I think:

The chest and shoulders are dead on (I'm a medium). The material is great. The sleeves are pretty good, I'd even take them a hair shorter, but I'm cool with them. The length if pretty good. They need to taper from the chest to the hem though....if you did that....you'd be my new t-shirt brand (for crew necks). I feel like the v-neck is slightly off....in the v. I don't know where it is exactly. The pocket crew is FIRE!!!! Straight PERFECT!!! Please make it in white and heather gray!! And don't change the cut on that!!!

Please taper the rest in the waist!!!

Ordered one XS white v-neck to try it out.. I think I've found the best fitting t-shirt I've ever put on. The fit is dead-on.

Thanks for the hookup thenanyu! I will definitely be ordering more.

Just got 5 shirts in today, and its pretty much spot on. I took size small, and its a tad tight but it's no different than many of my other shirts. I'm echoing everyone else in this thread when I say its very soft and comfortable. Not terribly thick but its a good weight. I'm standing at almost 6'2 and the length is decent, but it could be longer (understandably as its a small). I'll put em through the wash to see how they hold up, but for $15 a pop its def. a good buy. Happy so far and will look forward to what else they cook up.

I realize many suggestions have been made and it's unlikely that mine has but I thought I'd add my opinion. I haven't yet bought an Everlane shirt but only because after looking at the pics it seems like none of the t-shirts would be too much different from what I own already. I still probably will eventually, though (Texas summer is quickly approaching). If the t-shirts are made with the same (or better) fabric as James Perse uses then I'm already behind that part. Owning two JP shirts I must say the fabric is great. The fit on the JP shirts is a bit loose at size 1 (small) and 6'1" / 145 lbs but they're meant to be that way and Everlane's supposedly fit slimmer so it seems like they've got that covered. I know that some people have asked for deeper v-necks but really? Deep v-necks just seem 'douchey' as others have pointed out. Having said that, my recommendation would be for something different - a scoop neck. Something like this would be a good direction, in my opinion:

Still, I understand selling shirts is the priority for a brand like this and whatever sells takes precedence but I thought I'd throw in my two cents.

We have a shipment heading towards the warehouse just today. It will take some time for transit and getting things organized, so I am going to guess around the 12th - 15th.

Glad to be of service man, glad you like our shirts.

Hey wurlwyde, thanks for posting pics, those pocket crews made up a little small this run, but it sounds like they are perfect for you! We are working on getting the right taper happening - we are adjusting the details on each delivery.

Thanks for the comments guys, the V-deepness is a point of contention amongst the forum guys and our customers in general. We are going to clean up the current V and make the sides of the V more straight as opposed to slightly curved like they are now. If we do a deep V, it will probably be a different model of shirt rather than a change to the current style. Scoop necks are something we have thought about and we are trying them with women first.

Funny you say this, b/c the first thing after I tried them on was dig out a few brand new JP shirts (size 1) out of my closet. The fabric is very similar in terms of softness, with Everlane being slightly softer to me. The size 1 JP shirts were a bit looser on me and the shoulders were slightly big. The Everlanes fit a lot better throughout the body. It may just be me, but I actually like where the V is at right now... Another good point is a nice scoop neck. I always find it difficult to find a well cut scoop neck with some being either too low or too high. Something similar to say what Drew is wearing here (far left white t)

I completely agree with the scoop (u-neck) comment. The best I've found is the american apparel summer shirt loose....but it needs ALOT of work. It'd be great if you could develop something like that...they look great under a cardigan, coat, or hoodie.

I have no idea why James Perse is so big...maybe it's a whole different aesthetic than what I go after, but to me, the fit is terrible.

Interested in hearing how much they shrink in machine wash.

Word, also pleased with my backpack. Got in the olive snap yesterday---its sturdy without being overly heavy. Construction seems good--neither bombproof and heavyduty but certainly not lightweight or flimsy either. About in the middle. I abuse shit so we will see how it holds up.

I was VERY surprised at the quality of the leather details. The leather is very good, well about the standard of a $50 backpack. I also like the gingham hits inside. It even has a divider for your laptop inside.

Weekender, huh? Fuck. You'll probably see me again.

Pretty much my exact sentiments on both the snap backpack and weekender.

Quick question, what was the price of the backpacks? Waiting for a restock or new ones to come out now I guess.

Do you happen to have the tote by any chance? I like it minus the leather. Feels very dried out and kinda like a filson strap would be after 10 years of use then coated to look new kinda feeling. I wasn't expecting much for $30 and I have pretty much all CXL stuff now but I wouldn't say it's anywhere close to "well above" standard.

I don't. The leather is nice and soft, not plasticky or hard at all.
