when are the weekenders suppose to ship?
Mine is already on the way, ordered on Monday.
You guys think the weekender will be a good school/gym clothes/food bag? Yes, I pack all that stuff on a day to day basis.
Nevermind. Just read it has no shoulder strap
I ordered as soon as there was a viable link but unfortunately it doesn't look like it has shipped yet. Wonder if they are waiting for the shirt I ordered with it to be back in stock (sounds like it might be backordered).
No big deal, just thought it might be nice to have on this surprise trip (although it would probably look silly alongside my black timbuk2 laptop bag...)
Another aspect of the clip that I didn't think of, thanks
ya I agree the snap looked best to me initially, until I thought about the functionality of it
i'm surprised that the zip sold better than the clip though
Can anyone give me an idea of how much shrinkage I can expect from a Ryan collection tee after a wash and dry?
Based on the size of the model on the site I want to order my wife a xs...I want it to fit less slouchy than worn by the model and my wife is a bit bigger than the model...Nan - are the shirts modeled prior to a wash and dry?
Ordered mine yesterday and got a shipping confirmation, even on the t-shirt that was "preordered"
Really? I ordered my bag + shirt on monday and it still says 'waiting to ship'
Got my weekender today..
It's cool...I will use it a ton I know, starting this weekend. Definitely fills a nice gap in my lineup. But to be perfectly frank, I'm surprised this item pushed up against their $100 ceiling. This based on my perceptions of the overall look and feel out of packaging. The leather straps are such a critical (and expensive, i'm sure) element, and it just seems like they skimp there, as on the totes.
Made in China for anyone wondering (which ftr has little weight in my opinion above).
Sorry to be a downer...had a bad day and I feel like I'm taking it out on my new everlane bag.. crappin up the thread.
^ I agree about the straps. Although not horrible, I do like a more beefy strap. Also, one feature I thought would have been nice is a leather snap closure for the straps so keep the straps together and also give you a nice grip to hold onto.
I need a bag this size and it looks like the quality and price are fine, but I don't think I'd be happy with the strap length. It looks like a purse in the pictures. Too bad.
I am looking forward to the backpacks though.
and the New York Times today too.
I am surprised they all haven't sold out yet.
I have the ryan tee and it's hand wash only/dry clean so there will be no shrinkage. I bought a medium and I'm the same size as the model because I wanted a looser fit. If your wife is bigger than her then I think a small would be fine.
