Hi Guys,

Need help from the expert here. Does anyone know about this fabric label Ethomas?
I intend to make one sport jacket from a new tailor I found in Shanghai.

I have a Brooks Brothers sportcoat made from E. Thomas fabric, and it is good quality.

I've got a suit from Saks in super 130's wool...very nice but fragile, as you would expect with light fabric

Thanks SF (a new me)

I have a sport coat that Chan made for me from an E. Thomas wool-cashmere blend (85% wool, 15% cashmere). It's a lovely jacket and a very nice fabric. If it is typical of E. Thomas fabrics, I can recommend them highly.

Despite the English name, I think it's Italian, based in Biella.

Can anybody explain the history here, of how an Italian mill trades under an apparently English name?
I can't fine anything about them online. They don't appear to have a website.
