Estimating tie length

    Is there a simple way to estimate what length tie you need based on your waist to throat measurement or something similar?

    im 6 foot 1, ~186cm and have a thick neck (ex rugby player)

    1.bring a tape measure to a salvation army.
    2. try ties on until you find one the right length.
    3. measure it.

    I'm 6'5" and I prefer my ties at 61-63" however, I can just about get away with a 59". I think you would be fine with the standard 59" tie, although perhaps you should go with a 60" tie just to be on the safe side.
