I LOL'd pretty hard when I saw the picture of Rush Limbaugh followed by a bunch of big garish links advertising neckties, but then I realized that wasn't part of a nicely staged joke.

These sorts of listings are so consistently and predicatably nonsense that it's really not worth giving them any consideration.

Seeing Russell Brand reminds me that a few years' back (at the height of his fashionable novelty) in one of the British magazines he was given their 'Best Dressed' award. Only a couple of years later, he was high on the same magazine's list of worst dressed people. In that time he hadn't particularly changed his look in any way.

Rumor has it that the editorial board of GQ was ready to launch a Worst Dressed Real Man contest last year. Then, a consultant pointed out that their rival Esquire had a Best Dressed Real Man contest.

Apparently (again, rumor), after reviewing the Esquire contest, particularly this year's British efition, GQ was flummoxed and now their feature idea is dead in the water.

It's really dog eat dog in mens fashion publishing, with The Rake banishing subscribers and this GQ fiasco.
