1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

This thread has not only been derailed, the engine has gone tearing through the station killing hundreds of commuters before coming to rest on top of a blind puppy.

When will people learn to drive these things safely?!

You forget to mention the litter of three legged kittens who were severely burned in the ensuing fire.

So to summarize what we have learned so far:

    • Esquire is a paid advertizing rag.
    • Most American men spend less on clothes than the average SF member.
    • SF is frequented by a surprising number of racists who know nothing about history or ethnography but will nonetheless spout "facts" to support their biased ideology.

Good? Good. Glad we cleared all of that up.

It's interesting that the members who have turned up to give us the benefit of the idiosyncratic versions of history, sociology and human biology are not people I can recall posting fit pics or indeed having anything to say about style. Can some SF moderator confine them to Dumb Threads where they belong?

Alright. We are going to keep CE in CE. Next person to not do this is going to get the banhammer. If someone says something offensive not related to the topic at hand, don't retaliate. Just report it directly to me via PM, or there will be two bans instead of one coming down the line.

I hope that that's clear to all.

    Thanks,

    Fok.
