1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I've got a windowpane coat almost exactly like the one pictured in the final image. Also, in the same picture, are those white shoes paired with the brown herringbone suit??

Thanks for all the scans, Mr. Jordan!

Yes, that is nice. I've always enjoyed browns/tans with black, probably more than most here or on AAAC. I wouldn't go brown suit/black shoes for business, but this guy obviously isn't doing business (well, maybe he is![IMG] ).

Do people wear brown suits for business???

Glad to see you posting here, Anthony. I've always enjoyed your AAAC posts.

In the US, yes. Perhaps some of our Canadian friends would care to share their experiences from their side of the border.

Great pictures - I have an old Esquire book, What Every Young Man Should Knowthat has similar stuff. I will have to scan some of the illustrations.

Doc - you're welcome. and yes, I believe that those are white bucks. An unexpected choice!

Young Fogey - many thanks for the welcome.

Bradford- your book sounds very interesting. Perhaps you might consider uploading the illustrations to the new thread on classic style?

    Anthony.

Those prints make you wonder if cuffs with no break will ever come back in style. Not bad looking, IMO.

The herringbone with white shoes and visible sock is a bit too much for my taste. The shoes are bold enough on their own, and don't need the extra "look at me!" of the exposed sock.
