Esquire Classic online archive - any experience?

I did a search and couldn't find any record of this being discussed before.

Esquire have digital scans of all their backissues, going back to 1933, available for a $45/yr subscription.

That seems pretty decent value - sure, you have to dig through the usual dated articles, but there has to be a seam of quality material to be mined in there. Does anyone have (or has had) a subscription and can comment?

I subscribed for a couple of years. If you're interested in the 1930s era re clothes and other aspects, it's a GREAT resource.
