I have several Ermenegildo Zegna ties that have Asian writing on the label. I'm just worried that it may be fake but someone said they think they had a line or something of that nature made in China. Anyone have any information about how to detect a fake Zegna tie because I can't find any good information online. Thank you in advance for your advice. If you need a few pictures of one of the ties I'll provide it here for you. By the way the only thing I can read on the label is "Silk" as that is the only word I can get through google translate.

you could start by posting pic of the ties, with details of the labels and markings.

It’s not unusual for the tags of garments having several languages particularly when it applies to care instructions

Hi Thanks

At second glance I don't see the usual markings that I always see people post pics of. I think these ties are not authentic. I'm just learning more about Zegna. Look at the label can anyone read that? lol.

Update: I just read an article talking about his "Made in Japan" project using Japanese fabrics. Perhaps that explains these ties that I have. They are totally different from the ties people are posting pics of so I wasn't sure that's all.

I don’t think Zegna would make something so ugly.

That is an incredibly bad fake. The font on the logo is terrible.

A bad fake.

Even if it were real, the tie is hideous and should be binned.

Thanks. My initial hunch was that they are fakes. I got them in a lot of 300 ties for $75 CAD so it's not like I have a lot of money into this batch. As soon as I laid eyes on these I was disgusted and told myself they can't be real. Even though Zegna did a project in Japan using their fabrics. I'm not going to donate them I think I will do exactly as you guys said but cut them up and trash them. I don't want anyone else circulating them.
