Hey SF, I'm very new to the forum and have been very intrigued with what I've read recently - so many people with so much knowledge and wisdom! So I just started looking for a new suit, with 36S and Navy as the two main pre-requisites. I was in a few outlets today (Rack, Last Call and Off 5th) and basically found only 1 suit that was suitable. I was in a rush so just decided to get it since I can always return, but I didn't know much about it and wanted to see if you all could shed some light. On the sleeve is a tag that reads "Cloth Ermenegildo Zegna, Traveller, Wook/Silk, Woven in Italy" Also is the tag "Black - Saks Fifth Avenue". Same tags inside the jacket. From what I've read since getting home, it seems like the suit is only made from Zegna materials, but it does say on the back of the neck "Made in Italy", as well as in other parts of the suit (like the tag hanging off of it). Could you give some input on your thoughts of this suit and maybe answer some questions like: is it actually Zegna and/or Made in Italy; full/half canvas; decent price I should expect to pay (I paid almost $600, retail is $1200); whether I should keep it or keep looking. Also any suggestions on where I can possibly find a 36S Navy suit for a good price would be appreciated! Thanks!
