Yalls,
So my Kindle died and I need a new reader. I have a few questions for those of you that are well-versed in this area.
1) Is there any reader out there that allows for true full syncing between the reader tablet and an iPhone? The Kindle only allows for syncing between Amazon-bought ebooks across devices. It does not sync ebooks that I manually load onto the Kindle. 90% of my ebooks are not Amazon-bought so this is a serious gap in functionality for me. I don't know much about how the Nook does things, or even the newest version of the Kindle.
2) Are all the new reader tablets just shittier iPads? It seems as if they are all trying to play the full-on tablet game. If this is the case, is there any reason other than price to opt for a non-iPad reader?
3) Are there any remaining readers that use something akin to the old Kindle's non-lit display screen? It was very easy on the eyes but it seems that everyone is moving to a full back-lit iPad type screen.
Thanks dudes.
