If people took the photos we'd use them, though we tend to put customer supplied photos (with their permission) on Facebook rather than the website. Like the idea though. We need to update the website all together so I'll add that to the feature list

Re the Winchester, we can only get it in brass actually. We have one or two in nickel plate and we have had them palladium plated for people as well, but thats the only way of them being in a white finish. I believe theres a photo of one higher up the thread.

    Sorry, not very helpful!

Thanks for that explanation. It looks like calf is for lined and raised only. What would be the price point for this?

And just out of curiosity, is it possible for a calf lined and raised belt to have a different leather on each side? Or would the stitching not allow for this? What about a tubular belt where one piece of calf leather is folded over to form the front and back?

I'd have thought about the £200 + VAT and shipping region, but it depends very much on the particular leather we use and the specific details of the belt. Different widths of stitch for example change the price because things like that determine how long the belt takes to make.

It is certainly possible to use different leathers in and out within certain limitations of comaptibility, but thats more about edge finishing than stitching really. I haven't looked at a tubular belt so not sure on that one so far.

I'm plan to have a trip down to Northampton in the next couple of weeks to do some leather buying - will post photos. Hopefully they'll have some exotics in stock

It was a very well deserved win. The guy works as hard as anyone off the court. I met him last year and saw him play. He's a phenomenal athlete. Maybe Tim Henman can finally get a good night's rest now lol.

It certainly was. As well as being an excellent athlete he has an amazing temperament - took some guts to win in the circumstances. In particular he seems always to pull a ace out of the bag just when its needed.

    It did!

Can I ask, given your username, if you are a fan of or the author of the Duckworth Lewis Method?
