Up for sale is a beautiful sportcoat made of a luxurious wool-cashmere fabric. Made by Southwick for Epaulet, this sportcoat is made of a gorgeous tonal Prince of Wales check. The check is made of a melange of blues that give the jacket a slight grey cast. Close up, earth tones run through the center of the checks. The result is a blue jacket that's visually distinctive and entirely different from a typical navy jacket, but just as versatile. A great match to nearly any trouser color, chino, or denim you could throw at it, and it's of a medium weight, so it's great for three-season wear. Great worn formally or casually, and the pattern is subdued enough to be easily worn with a patterned shirt and/or tie. The real story, though, is in the luxurious feel and drape of the fabric. The wool-cashmere blend is stunningly soft, almost butter-like, but doesn't call for delicate handling. Southwick made this jacket with an extra-light natural shoulder to accentuate the fabric's beautiful drape. Stored on a proper hanger in a pet-free, smoke-free home in a breathable cedar-lined garment bag. Worn 3-4 times. 3-roll-2, open patch pockets with spot-on pattern matching. A fantastic, distinctive jacket that's easy to wear both with solids and patterns, made of a stunning fabric. Tagged size 38.
