Oh, I searched the Epaulet and Armory websites some time ago, but for a long time I was reluctant to order Carmina without trying them on. Now I'm close enough to DC (and NYC) that I could make a short trip if I wanted to get my sizing exact. Unfortunately, Epaulet is now out of my size in the suede double monks, so I'm waiting for a re-stock.
When I say "winter boots", I actually mean some sort of ankle boots like chukka boots with a Dainite sole and storm welt. I have a pair of C&J Tetburys that I really like, but I can't wear them every day in the winter, I would really prefer a more rounded toe than the Tetburys, and I would like a pair in cordovan (color and perhaps shell cordovan material). I also realize that I missed the original suede austerity brogues in this thread, darn it. They look really sweet!
Ummm, how long have you been lurking? There's been a snuff suede double monk (still some stock left on Epaulet's web shop) and several winter boots.. with some sort of dainite sole.
