Oooph, that sounds great. That's the beautiful thing about Jodphurs - that top buckle is largely not visible so you can go crazy with that.

How about something really dandy - like a captoe blucher or bal boot in Midnight calf with a grey suede shaft?

Lawdy!!! A navy calf/grey suede Jodhpur or Bal boot would be the cream of the crop of all the MTO's so far. Yes yes yes.

Edit: NAMOR, do you have any pics of the calf/grey suede jodhpur you are talking about?

    Mike, something like this?

Midnight calf for the front portion, grey suede in the back?

How about a burgundy suede offset with the midnight calf - too aggressive for ya'll?

^ ive seem that boot before and This is the first thing that came to mind: [IMG] I prefer the look of the Carmina jodhpur posted above over the AS alex. Jodhpurs look cool with a contrast of material and/or color. Some ideas: Chocolate calf with dark brown suede leather strap Calf with corresponding color croc strap Navy calf with navy or gray suede strap. The possibilities are endless :bounce2:

I've never been a fan of any kind of blue shoes, but I won't say yea or nay until we see that Midnight calf.

    Wow! Looks amazing!

I don't even have my first Carmina's yet (just ordered both the MTO boots), and I'm all in for this next one!

    Jodhpur :inlove:

I like NAMOR's idea of having a navy suede strap with the rest of the boot a navy calfskin.

    Let's get this going :bounce2:

I like them more than other navy shoes that I've seen, but I don't think I'd be able to pull the trigger on these, or the Jodhpurs if they end up in the same color. Damn shame, but maybe others will like them.

I'll take that as at least something of a positive sign then! In the meantime you can count me in for anything that includes the words "saddle", "shell", "Carmina", and "boot" (and "Epaulet" of course). That cognac shell though is also a mighty fine color...
