Wholecut interests me. So does green, though I'd worry a little about how much I'd wear green. Suppose I won't know until I have a pair...

Can't wait to see some of the austerity brogues in action. I suppose most people haven't even received them yet, and when you all do, I bet you will put them up on a table and admire them for a week or so before even putting them on.

I do like the first one, the single monk strap.

Also I thought we were going to do a green loafer, Mike expressed interest in that project.

Yes, I posted a couple pics of green loafers for summer but since it takes 3 months from order to delivery, I'm thinking a shoe for fall would be best. Unless you think a green loafer is appropriate for fall?

We discussed the boot below as the perfect fall balmoral earlier in the thread and I think Mike was all about this. Might make sense to get this order going again in time for delivery in the fall.

Looking for another option for those of us not interested in the boots.

Thanks again, Epaulet. Shoes are great; I only wish I ordered an 10 instead of 10.5, suede is more forgiving than leather.

The single-eyelet derby looks awesome. Maybe on the inca last.

Mine just arrived, and holy shit, they are insane! I've only had a chance to try it on briefly, but the fit seems to be perfect, and the workmanship is as good as advertised. I'm going to have a hard time trying to keep myself from buying more Carminas...(well, I've already bought another pair of Carminas, but they're heels for my wife.) I'm extremely happy with them.:D

Are you talking about exact replacement laces? Mine came with an extra set of laces so I assume they come with every pair.

I asked before opening the box...mine came with an extra pair also but I'm still curious because I like the flat laces.

These are beautiful shoes...does anyone know how many were ordered?
