1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Alden has a history of sending out complementary laces to previous customers that have inquired kindly.

Regarding boot laces, I have found Perri's Paddock Boot Laces to be quite good. Around $2 a pair.

Are they significantly thicker than stock Carmina laces? Pics of the Perri's Paddock boots themselves seem to indicate that they're pretty beefy.

I would participate in a navy shell wrap-around-monk strap too if it is on the rain last.

I would not hold my breath, however, Others have said that Carmina has no navy or whiskey (Carmina calls it saddle) shell that is not already spoken for. In other words, Carmina is supposedly out of this shell at the moment.

I'd e-mail Mike and Matt (or they might just drop into this thread -- cc @leftofthedial @Epaulet ). They tend to have very detailed information about shell availability.

Thanks. I have already emailed to Epaulet about the MTO for the model but in RAIN instead of INCA last... you can also update on their shell availability.

Great. Seem like we have 2 votes on rain and single leather

I would totally be in for this MTO if it came in burgundy... I love navy as much as the next guy but I just can't decide what I would wear it with...

I would be in if they resurrected the burgundy shell Salinger inca double monk.

I was thinking this, but I prefer this style. It looks about the same as the double monk but without the hassle of 2 straps.

that said, I'd be in if they brought that back too

^ You don't actually need a belt that matches. You can just wear a non-black belt and everything will be fine.
