Love that shoe in sadle.
Robert last, brogue cap toe, balmoral boot. Double leather soul.
I could get behind something like this. I would prefer no hooks and dainite soles.
I'd be up for this as well.
A tan calf balmoral captoe would be lovely for spring/summer.
I'm totally down for this makeup
Can we go no speed hooks, danite sole on the bal boot? There seems to be some consensus on this.
chestnut cordovan looks really nice as well.
My preference would be for: chestnut, saddle, then cognac.
I'm up for a shell longwing boot in one of the 'lighter' colors such as cognac/ whisky. Would be great to heat about price points for the shell and calf, though.
I would suggest for our non-shell option an oiled suede or even chamois option if we can get it. The recent Leffot makeup of the Greenwich boot in brown chamois or even the original navy oiled nubuck looked amazing and was incredibly versatile. A Carmina version would be even better if that is an option; hard-wearing and elegant at the same time. And sufficiently differentiated from anything else out there. A captoe or shortwing boot in those leather options would kill it.
I'm all for a balmoral boot in shell. Would prefer a darker color, metal eyelets, no preference on outsole
Can't get down with the metal eyes - blind eyes and hooks. That's the classic combo. Outsole could be whatever.
Let's see where this goes.
Do you guys wear these boots during the summer?
I usually dislike how these shoes by SF committee turn out (ie not as I vote for ) but all of the images posted so far got me EXCITED man. I want something elegant and laced, and not black or dark brown.
my boots go away in the summer. in the summer I wear boat shoes, loafers and lighter shoes in general.
Me too...and that's why I'm wondering why everyone wants boots for spring delivery.
