I'd have to see the final, but I'm definitely interested in the navy suede loafer.

+ 1. Depending on the makeup. Closer to the original cap toe boot in Lama, the better me thinks...

Now, this is a bit of a casualty of Pitti lighting as well, as it looks more red in this image than it does in real life. Unfortunately, I don't have any natural light shots of this skin. But the name "terracotta" is actually pretty apt for this color, it's a pale, sort of cognac red. A little bit in the Ravello family. It will certainly make up beautifully for this boot. The leather is incredibly soft and it's on the lighter side, so it will be quite wearable in the warmer months, or for guys in warmer climates overall. Let me know what you think!

I would love to purchase the shoe above....is it a Carmina model....if so where can I get it? LOL what a dumb question....I should just email Betty shouldn't I?

Does anyone know what was the expected delivery month for the Ruby captoes? March or May?

Would you go for a dover pattern PTB? I'd be interested in the Oscar PTB as well. Was going to purchase the rain last PTB but the shape of the rain last looked too narrow for me.

The rain last is noticeably wider than the forest last.

May?! No way, mate. I'd be surprised if we didn't get them within the next six weeks.

Edit: I meant the bal boots, not the shoe re-run. My bad!

If there's no interest, I'll cede to the captoe boot, but anyone else interested in using the terracotta leather to make either a 5 eyelet or three eyelet chukka? I just keep thinking this leather looks so much better with a plain toe styled shoe.

I had thought about a chukka but I think a captoe would be better. Again open to really anything

Hey guys, here's a quick PS mockup of the captoe boot in Terracotta Lama...

1000

It's tough to get the color spot on, but it's a soft red with a distinct orange cast. Somewhere in between the monkstrap pic and the Tan Lama boot.
