There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I think it would look great in a cap toe boot...perhaps the Bradbury or a non-perforated cap toe...

That's a whole lot of hatch grain! Options and variety on different leather and style of shoes has always been innovative. Shell Greeley to spice alittle lifes( Loden, Cognac)!

I'd say tough! Danite and storm sounds great.

We should start a list for the Loden make ups

Salinger double monk (brown edge trim)

    Anderson jumper

    Any other takers?

I think the Simpson 3-eye derby would also be great in hatch grain.

I would like to see a plain toe loafer in the hatch grain. Also a matching belt would be nice.

Are those loafers right there Carmina?

If so, I want. But maybe I've already hit my limit on Loafers (two suede string Uetam loafers in blue and Snuff).

ETA: Simple googlefu shows MTO at The Armoury. Nice stuff.

I'd be in but I'm pretty sure those specific ones are on the Armoury last (square as hell toe) which is awesome.. and not sure if it's available at Epaulet. Or how it fits. Not sure I'd be down for one in any other last.

Guys, I can't say for certain, but I've come to learn that Epaulet has got a new MTO footwear "program" brewing. I figure they're working hard on things behind the scenes and I'm hopeful it will debut in the next week or so.

Again, I have no connection to Epaulet whatsoever, but I have faith we'll all be happy in due time.

For what it's worth, I'd love to acquire something in loden shell as well. That said, I don't think a formal list is necessary. Then again, I could be wrong. Heck, add me to the list! :slayer:

I already messaged Partagas but figured I'd ask here as well.

What does everyone think of a 'dark' loden green? Basically they look damn near black indoors but you can notice the green outdoors. I've seen it on some G&G racing Green shoes and that's kind of what I want for a shoe right now.

I don't want to mess with a list that's already so strong and am not even sure if Carmina can do it but.. maybe?

    ETA: Here's a goal I'm going for.

I'll buy something when a basic color MTO is offered in a last other than forest. I'd kill for some simpson or robert...

For whatever reason, I already had that color in mind, even though the example of Loden shell that I found was much brighter:

    http://obviousamerica.com/2011/05/22/yuketen-loden-shell-cordovan-penny-loafer/#more-654

That darker color looks REALLY good--the indoor subtlety/outdoor color would probably feel a lot like Ruby shell. And I just think that darker green looks more tough. Count me in.

Now I'm worried that this will turn into another cognac shell debacle, with people on the same MTO hoping for different shades of shell.

Yeah if that's the color (in your picture), unfortunately I have to bow out. And I feel bad about it. I love the idea of shoes that look damn near black indoors but then outdoors you can tell they're different. Like a dark navy suit that looks close to black indoors and blue outdoors.

I should have mentioned that before asking to add my name to the list.

I have some green shell from Rancourt, which is definitely not mistaken for black. They do hand dye it, so it may not be directly comperable, but I think you should expect green shell to show green. Which is fine by me...
