Enough that waiting a little too long gets painful [IMG]
Now I just need some of them to actually come in the mail...this will be my 4th Carmina boot deposit, and I still haven't even touched one.

I own 6 pair of Aldens and 1 Carmina. Mike from Epaulet warned me when I purchased my last pair of shoes which are the Carmina Sinclair that I'll get hooked. Let me tell you, they are very comfortable, QC is way beyond Alden, the shell cordovan is near perfect and the they just mold to the bottom of my feet. I wish I would have known about Carmina sooner.

I actually own two pairs of Carminas (double monks in Caramel and Snuff, both from Epaulet), and am very happy with them; I just don't yet have any boots.

They all look fantastic. Can I swing by the Manhattan store and pick up my scotch grain tomorrow? I really regret missing the cordovan bal but my regret is overshadowed by my excitement over this sexy beast...

    Hope it comes in soon!

    Hey guys, need your opinion

I went with a UK9.5 on the austerity brogue python in the Rain last so for the Ruby boot Forest last, do you think i can get away with ordering a wide UK9 ?

    I wear

    10D Plaza last Alden
9UK Trickers 4444 Country Last, 5 Fitting (Standard Width)
    9.5EEE Allen Edmonds Strand
    10.5D 337 last C&J ( this is a bit long )

    Thanks !

Haha I feel the same way!

I have deposits on black scotchgrain, brown calf/suede combo, navy and chocolate jodhpurs and I've never even tried on a pair of carmina's before.

Gosh I hope they work out :embar:

I wear a 10D in the Alden Plaza and a 9E UK in the C&J 337. I have a 9UK in the Carmina Forest which fits well.

Absolutely. Any NYC-area customers who preordered the bal boots (cognac shell, black scotchgrain, brown calf / brown suede) can swing by our Manhattan store anytime to pick them up. We'll start invoicing everyone tomorrow and we'll look to get a good batch shipped out with UPS.

Yes, given your Plaza and AE sizing I think that a UK9 wide should be fine. Maybe even a regular UK 9 medium, as the Plaza last isn't wide at all. But it's safer to get the UK9 wide. Better a little too wide than a little too narrow, and if it's too wide, it won't be by much.

Not yet, but I should get another shipment sent in about 3 weeks. Hopefully it will be in there. I'll hear from Carmina shortly, and I'll keep you guys updated. We're still waiting on the Navy Shell Double Monks and Python Austerity Brogues as well.

Can't wait to get my calf/suede boots. Once I confirm that these fit right what's the possibility of doing another run of the cognac shell bal boot?
