Thanks for asking! Yes, definitely go up for a 40 on your Quincy. That’s going to also allow for a reasonably heavy sweater or a lighter down vest (like the Patagonia slim down pieces, not a puffy Marty McFly vest).

Chainstitch shirts shrink a lot! Mine was washed in cold water and dried on low heat... now sleeves barely reach the wristbone, length... it's right at the belt now and overall good tight. I didn't expect this much shrinkage

I tend to hang dry mine but yeah the sleeves are a little short to just right even before wash for me
