Hard to tell from the photo but the vest looks ok, however your pants seem really low or super low rise. Might just not be the best pairing .

Thanks. They’re not super low, but I’ll try with some medium rise and see. I’m 6’1 with a 30” inseam, so kinda tall torso for my height. I often have this problem with stuff that should hit at the belt being an inch or two too short.

Dang I'm 5'10" with a 30" inseam. And I thought I had long torso clothing problems!

Epaulet baby camel Southwick blazer and some tartan Rudy trousers to go to the Santa Brunch at the golf club today.

The loud tartan trousers looked great stepping out of the ‘29 Ford.

Ah ok that makes sense. I'll let Mike chime in as I'm not sure about stretching it. Vest looks awesome though!

Hey Mike, any news on sample denim bottoms of Canadian tuxedo? @Epaulet

I think you mentioned you were working on finalizing back pocket stitching some time back.

My Sashiko Doyle has been 'held by customs' since last Wednesday. I'm hoping it's just a festive backlog and not a sign that they are Googling sashiko and trying to do me for importing Japanese fabric via the US to the EU!

Incidentally Sashiko Doyle is a great name for an Irish/Japanese hard boiled fictional detective who doesn't play by the rules.

Got the Jean sample today, and I think that we nailed it, my friends!

Here’s some very impromptu pics of yours truly in it. I haven’t owned a pair of jeans that fit me well in years. The rise is really ideal too. I’m wash testing it tonite and will report back with more pics...
