Hi Eva--any ETA on the MTO Rivets from late April?

Yes! Thanks for asking. Both the MTO Rivets and the Shorts are 95% done. I'm hoping to get them at the end of this week

All of our bottoms use welt pockets in the rear, and this operation is done out of house at a welt pocket contractor. As you guys probably know, we're having a resurgence of COVID-19 in Los Angeles, and one of the welt pocket employees tested positive a little over a week ago. In response, the whole place shut down and everyone got tested as a precaution.

The good news: the factory has distancing and masks in place, so this didn't spread to the rest of the team. They expect to reopen tomorrow or Thursday, and our pieces will be first to finish. It's less than a day of labor to do it. They'll come back to our main factory (which is fully operational) for buttons and cleaning, and then they'll be in my hands to ship. Should be any day now.

LAST CALL FOR YOSHIWA CROSSCUT PIQUE AND BRISBANE MOSS TWILLS

Hey guys,

I'm going to close the orders for these items tonight, and get the fabric first thing in the morning. If you're not familiar with them, here's a quick overview...

1) These fabrics are available to order in the RIVET & WILHELM CHINO and the DOYLE & SINCLAIR JACKET

2) Crosscut Pique is a seriously rugged fabric that's a repro of a cotton twill used by Levis in the 1970s. It has a unique diagonal cross weave that should fade like crazy. It's really strong and durable. The cloth is woven in Japan on narrow looms by Yoshiwa Mills.

3) Brisbane Moss of the UK is one of the finest mills on Earth, and we've been using their cottons with Hertling and Southwick forever. I have a gorgeous Cavalry Twill and a seriously comfortable "Cozy Brushed" twill available. Both of them will yield chinos that are excellent for cooler temps and very bizcaz ready

4) Pricing on all of this stuff is really good. I'm working to get our order quantities as high as possible so we can keep giving our factory work. We'll most likely deliver around the end of August, so you'll have this right at the beginning of Fall.

Hi Eva,

What's the best way to contact you directly about possibly having a size 40 try-on Doyle sent out? I just received a custom 42 that feels a hair big, and I'd love to try a 40 before making future orders. (You fitted me for a 41 in the Dartmouth jacket when I bought a suit previously). Long-time customer, first-time styleforum poster :)

Now you just need to do a sashiko duster and we can have all the best sashiko outerwear.

That looks amazing though.

I'm probably your worst customer as I tend to only buy sale stuff. I guess the world needs bottom feeders.

I'm still breaking in this selvidge chambray shirt. It is pretty heavy duty but is starting to break in nicely.

Can anyone suggest, if I usually take shirts with measurements of 18.5“ p2p, 22“ chest, 35” sleeves and I'm 6’2 195 lbs, would I be a 42 or 44 in a Doyle jacket?
