You could just look at the pictures on the site of the Epaulet blazers and jackets... dunno I wore the camo shirt out last night with a leather jacket.

^ the only reason I haven't is that I've bought 3 pairs of chinos and a shirt in the last few weeks. Not to mention my LWBs. That said, those are among the best white pants I've seen, pretty much ever.

What makes them among the best white pants you've ever seen? Isn't white just white? :embar: There are still multiple pairs in my size so I will ponder about it...if there was 1 left, I would've bought already. :foo:

EDIT: Caved in and ordered a pair. :(

Annoying sizing question. I'm a 33 in brooks brothers chinos, 32 in LE Canvas stuff, around 33/34 in pretty much everything else, 34s often run a tiny little bit big. Should a 34 fit me in the rivet chinos? most stuff I own is vanity sized somewhat, just trying to figure out based on what I know fits, don't have a measure handy (I know, I know).

Cut. Shade of color. Detail. Material.

These of course apply to the chinos in general, and clearly people seem to think the caramel are among the finer options for that shade. You could say brown is just brown. Or navy is just navy, etc.

I just happen to think that white pants often look terrible, with white jeans being only slightly better. The Epaulet version raises the bar, and makes an otherwise often-lackluster choice into something a cut above (as they have a way with.) You may feel differently.

Don't wait too long--it tends to backfire.

For me, I'm into the 3rd month in this I think, I have 2 shirts and one chino, with 2 shirts, 4 chinos, and the natty LWB to arrive. Not the most hopeless case I guess. I'm a bit surprised to find some of you guys are only starting with the shirts.

Quick cross post from our Epaulet x Carmina thread...

Hey guys!

We just had a great meeting with Carmina, and we've got a TON of good things in store for the Fall.

First things first, I have some photos to show from their visit last week:

Betty & Antonio with Adele and I

Betty & Antonio with Epaulet employees Matt and David

An all-Carmina shoe round. Well-worn caramel Salingers on the top, Saddle shell salingers on the bottom. New-ish chocolate calf Fitzgeralds are in the upper right.

A close-up of Betty's unreal python Austerity brogues. Who's down with this for a mens style???
